Effect of meadow regeneration on bee (Hymenoptera: Apoidea) abundance ...

In 2003, we began a long-term study of bee abundance and diversity in naturalising meadow habitats in southern St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. We are studying bees at meadow sites of various ages on the campus of Brock University and the adjacent Glenridge Quarry Naturalization Site (GQNS), a park completed in 2003 on a former landfill site.
